  • Rental fee of the facility depends on the day of the week and includes an 8 hour block of time. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the facility and it will be applied to the rental fee.
  • Use of the property is restricted to the hours of 7:00 am and 11:00 pm.
  • We require a credit card number to be on file at the time of your event as a security against property damege and/or violation of policies and procedures listed below.
  • Set up and clean up is the responsibility of the renter.
  • Access to Valhalla will be coordinated with the Tahoe Tallac Association.
  • Parking is available in the Valhalla Parking lot, 35 spaces only. Additional spaces are available in the   U.S.F.S. parking lot behind the Pope Estate (year round) and in the Tallac Site (seasonal) parking lot. 
  • Parking is not allowed off asphalt, on bike trail, in the circle drive in front of the Grand Hall, or on the one lane road. Additional parking is available at Kiva Beach (seasonal).
  • All furniture, tables, chairs, picnic tables, garbage cans must be put away at conclusion of event.
  • Garbage liners are provided. It is the renter's event planner or caterer's responsibility to remove all refuse from the building, grounds, porches, and premises.
  • Decorations may be used; however, no tape, nails or staples can be used on building surfaces.
  • No wedding ceremonies may be held outside.
  • Music (amplified) must be maintained at a reasonable volume and allowed indoors only, acoustical (non-amplified) music may be used outdoors.
  • The use of propane heaters on the deck is not allowed.
  • Main hall capacity is 125 persons maximum, indoors or outdoors.
  • Set up on day of booked event: Maximum 2 hours prior to scheduled event time, additional set up time may be arranged for $250.00 per hour, with a maximum of 2 extra hours.
  • Smoking is prohibited inside the building and on the decks.
  • Wedding Rehearsal: Rehearsals may be scheduled at the cost of $100.00 for one hour.
  • Payment: Non-refundable rental fee in full is due 60 days prior to the even and may be made by personal check, cashier's check, money order or credit card.
