The Tahoe iMPRoV Players turn audience suggestions into hilarious scenes made up on the spot. Their improv journey began as ComedySportz of Lake Tahoe in 1993. Three years later they evolved into the Tahoe iMPRoV players. Celebrating almost 30 years at the lake, the Tahoe Improv Players bring their best to Valhalla. Tahoe’s best value in entertainment for the whole family. They make stuff up, you laugh…it’s simple!

Valhalla Kids Art Camp

Valhalla Tahoe hosts Gina Stowell’s Kids Art Camp each year in July. Every morning kids enjoy painting and drawing outside at the Heller Estate. Each child has their own easel, paint and brushes. Gina helps the children maintain social distance while still having fun outdoors. Walks around the property, creating journals and a Gallery show for parents at the end of the week are all part of the Valhalla Art Camp experience.  LTUSD student are dismissed 6/22 because of missed days. Will’s Kids is a FREE performance by Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival’s D.G. Menchetti Young Shakespeare Program. This hour-long performance transforms the main stage Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival production into a fun and interactive version appropriate for children of all ages. The whole family can enjoy a creative day at the stunning Heller Estate at the Tallac Historic Site. 

WordWave – A Celebration of Story

Tahoe WordWave is the culmination of an annual one-act play writing competition. The best three submissions will be selected from more than 100 entries and presented as full productions each night at the event. The playwrights are invited to attend the event to see their play come to life on the stage. During the audience question and answer period they will discuss the circumstances and social influences that led them to write the play, as well as their feelings seeing it performed on the Boathouse Theatre stage! Join us for this annual event that celebrates creativity and stories that change people’s thoughts, opinions and lives.

Guilty Christmas

Aafter almost ten years the team of Hamilton and Williams has created Guilty Christmas, a musical comedy about the the South shore of Tahoe in winter. Look for songs about winter driving, running for city council and of course, quarantine. Plus, a giant finale with a practically every Christmas song you’ve ever heard.  If you remember Guilty Pleasures, then you know just what you are in for. If you don’t, it’s okay, you can just sit back and laugh with everyone else. It will be fun for the whole family, (though probably not for pets).
